About us · since 2016

From bare steel
to the starting grid

Mavericks Racing was born in 2016 as the brainchild of engineering students at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. We started with Formula Imperial and SAE Baja. Today we design, build and race an electric formula-style car at Formula Bharat.

The team is made up of students from engineering and non-technical backgrounds, organised into domains that each own a part of the car.
